Kaamia Warranty

STANDARD ONE YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY

Kaamia warrants this product to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal residential use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year from the original invoice date.

Shipping and handling fees are to be paid for by the customer in the case of a return. Kaamia agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to repair and defect in material or workmanship or to furnish a repaired or refurbished product of equal value in exchange without charge (except for a fee for shipping, handling, packing, return postage, and insurance which will be incurred by the customer).

Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase as confirmed by showing the model number on original dated sales receipt.

UPHOLSTERY PRODUCT WARRANTIES

Kaamia warrants the reclining mechanism, frame parts and spring systems against manufacturing and material defects for ONE year.

CUSHIONING/FILLING MATERIAL

Kaamia warrants against defective parts on seat cushion foams and filling materials for one year. All foam and filling composites naturally soften with use. This softening does not constitute a defect under the warranty.

FABRIC AND LEATHER

Kaamia warrants the upholstery fabric used on your furniture against; seam failure, fabric separation and nap loss for one year. Kaamia cannot cover pilling, which is a result of normal wear, nor fading, which can be caused by overexposure to sunlight.

RESIN WICKER

Straps and/or wicker weave are warranted for a period of three (3) years against separation, cracking or tearing. Fading or discoloration of the straps and/or wicker weave resulting from exposure to sunlight or other natural elements, oils, spills, fluids or chemicals is not covered under this limited warranty. In addition, resin wicker that is cut or sliced by the customer during or after un-packaging is not covered under this limited warranty.

LEATHER

Kaamia warrants leather upholstery against seam failure and material defects for one year. The natural beauty of leather means that no two pieces of leather are exactly alike. As such, natural markings and grain variations are not considered defects.

WARRANTY LIMITATIONS

This warranty does not include:

• Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or any use for which the product was not intended, such as use in rental or contract trade or commercial use.

• Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care.

• Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, accidents or shipping damage.

• Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse.

• Normal wear and tear.

• Damages incurred during transportation.

• Damages incurred during assembly or maintenance. Any used, previously displayed items.

Kaamia makes no express warranty or condition whether written or oral and Kaamia expressly disclaims all warranties and conditions not stated in this limited warranty.

DISCLAIMER

This warranty is valid only in the 50 United States and Canada. This warranty is in lieu of any implied or other expressed warranties. To the extent allowed by the local law of jurisdictions outside the United States, Kaamia disclaims all implied warranties or conditions, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

For all transactions occurring in the United States, any implied warranty of condition of merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the duration of the express warranty set forth above.

Some states or countries do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages for consumer products.

In such sates or countries, some exclusions or limitations of this limited warranty may not apply to the Purchaser.

For consumer transaction, the limited warranty terms contained in this statement, except to the extent lawfully permitted, do not exclude, restrict, or modify but are in addition to the mandatory statutory rights applicable to the sale of any Product to the Purchaser.

All warranty claims must be filed by the consumer to Kaamia regarding any warranty return or replacement. Please retain invoices for a minimum of one year for warranty purposes. We agree to deliver goods to you on the understanding reasonable access is available. In the event access is unavailable or you are not at home at the agreed delivery time you may be charged for any subsequent delivery.

On delivery, please inspect your item carefully, noting any issues on the delivery copy. Once you have inspected stock carefully and you have signed acceptance of the item, Kaamia cannot accept responsibility for any defects that may occur as a result of general day to day usage. Any damage on delivery should be reported to the corporate office immediately. Kaamia is not liable for any damage that occurs to or is exposed after goods are signed for and accepted.

Please note it is the customer’s responsibility to items check measurements to ensure items will fit in intended areas. We will not be held responsible for items that have not been measured and subsequently do not fit in homes.

Upon pickup, once goods have been signed for no responsibility will be taken for any subsequent damage or faults that occur. Please inspect your furniture carefully prior to pick-up and signing of goods. We cannot be held responsible for damage caused while the stock is being loaded into transport or after the furniture leaves our premises.

CLAIM PROCEDURES

Claims for defective merchandise must be made within ONE YEAR from invoice date. Claims for missing parts must be made within 15 calendar days after the merchandise is received.

Any claim for defective merchandise returns must be packed in original packaging.

We reserve the right to specify that items be returned to the original warehouse for inspection or be inspected by our representative in the field.

Pictures or video proof is required to claim defective merchandise, along with a copy of the original invoice.

If the claim is justified, the item(s) or part(s) will be repaired or replaced or a credit will be issued. It is our policy to replace parts whenever possible.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights, which vary from state to state.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This warranty does not cover and is void if damage is a result of freight/shipping, a failure caused by unreasonable or abusive use, acts of God, improper care, freeze damage, mildew, normal wear, fading or stretching of fabrics and vinyl straps, glass breakage, glides, if the furniture is used for commercial purposes or if the customer fails to provide reasonable and necessary care.
